A Parent Shares Success

“Since my son entered the public school system, he has been behind in reading. He also struggled in other areas like math and writing. Needless to say, his self-esteem suffered because of it. He was also diagnosed with visual perceptual issues which made sports and other extracurricular activities difficult. A friend shared her success story with me (with Cantwell Vision Therapy) so we had an evaluation. Shortly after, we started therapy. In about six months time we noticed a great improvement and the teacher at school also noticed. My son had SOLs in the spring and, not only did he pass everything, he was advanced in a few areas. This year he is in the 4th grade and doing amazing. He is reading on grade level AND he made the honor roll. He also just finished his 1st season of flag football and did great. His confidence is wonderful and it has made our whole family much happier. I am sad, in a way, to be finished because the staff is amazing and I will miss them. Our story is truly a success story.”
